I am in search of a hospital based nursing program. I currently work within a hospital as a nurse assistant. Really want to relocate so all and any info will help me.

The BON of the state should have a list of approved programs that allows for eligibility to take NCLEX following graduation. That's a good place to start.

These are few and far between nowadays. I know of one diploma/hospital based nursing program still in existence in my state.

Some states have no diploma programs at all any more. PA, for some reason, seems to be the last bastion of diploma programs and still has quite a few. OP, what state are you in? Are you willing to relocate anywhere?

Yup and thy hire their own grads...the program is small and competitive. There is one in New Hampshire.....St Joes I believe but it is a ASN program hospital based...St Joes is a nice ASN program

In Indiana the one I know of Is St Elizabeth's in Lafayette Indiana the Home of Purdue University another great program that keeps their grads for the most part.

St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Lafayette, IN is no longer diploma based. They are now a BSN program in conjunction with St. Joe College in Rensselaer, IN. Great program!
