Oh my goodness. Your school?!?

I can see the patient(s) in my dream that need my help but I can never get to them; doors close in my face right when I've almost reached them. Other patients that need me pop up in the way. I can't find the room. I'm in the wrong building. I'm constantly running frantically trying to find the patient. Awful feeling and I have these types of dreams pretty regularly.

The parents provided me with an old iPhone to keep at my desk. Student's mother also has one. This works out well for us.

Hello, all. I've just completed week 4 of my new school nurse job. I'm happy to report that all staff have been welcoming, friendly, and very supportive. I'm working my way through the mess that was left for me, getting to know the kiddos, and finally beginning to feel more comfortable and less stressed. I really love this job and feel blessed to be a part of such an awesome school. Enjoy your time off!

Long time lurker. First time poster in the group. I just completed my first full week as the School Nurse at a Jr-Sr High School with approximately 800 students. I can't believe how much I love this job! Thanks to reading all of the many topics within this group, I felt much more prepared thanks to all of you awesome School Nurses, so thank you!! Wow have I seen a lot this week! Looking forward to learning much more and developing my own style that works for me. Have a great weekend all!
