Recommendation for supplementary books to pharmacology?

Published

Can anyone recommend a good book that will help me keep all the medications straight in my head?? More specifically, has anyone run across books with visual aids/pictures of how the medication works, etc. I have found that this helps me to remember. Thanks.

I found these two book very helpful. I bought the pocket guide and the visual aides were very good for the Mosby Memory cards these were even used in my Pharm classes. The success books were very nice, they had rationals and even have a cardiac section with ekg strips as they relate to medications.

Not a book, but I liked the Pharm Phlash flash cards. They're not super detailed, but a nice additional resource.

I liked the Pharmacology for Nurses: A pathophysiologic approach by Adams and Holland, Jr. The book was required for my online LVN to BSN program. The book discussed pharm in relation to pathyphysology. I foud the book very useful.
