Legacy Versant RN Residency - who's applying for this round?
Been wondering the same thing. Feels like we had our interview schedule by this time last spring. I also haven't gotten any communication regarding references, how did you find out that yours will be "reused?"

Praying PVT is right!!
Congrats to you all! Just finished taking NCLEX, 75 questions, way to many SATA and 45 minutes out the door. Felt terrible, may drugs I had never heard of. Checked the Pearson VUE website when I got to my car and it indicated that my test scores had been "successfully delivered." So, I did the Pearson VUE trick and got the good pop-up! We'll see what Oregon BON has to say in the next couple of days. Congratulations again, can't wait to move forward with the learning!

Legacy Versant RN Residency - who's applying for this round?
First time applying, sitting for NCLEX on June 5th! I too am curious about the set up for the first interview. Mainly, is it a group or one-on-one interview? Thanks, Bill

Legacy Health RN Residency 2011
I'd be interested to keep hearing about your experience as an "out of stater" applying and going through the process. Looks like you don't have enough posts yet to PM but feel free to once you get there (15 posts I think). When did you graduate? Do you already have your OR license and what was your experience doing so? How long did that process take? Where you first licensed in CA? Cheers, Bill

How to tell you've worked too many shifts in a row
When you have to think when someone says "If you say gullible really slow it sounds like ORANGE!" Dang it was a long night.

Graduated, Licensed, and Job Offer
That's awesome!!! I will be graduating in May at 36 years old and feel like my age is a leg up in a new nursing pool of twenty somethings. Good luck out there.

Does completing your prerequisites at 3 different community colleges look bad?
I had no trouble with prereqs coming from 5 different schools and two different time periods! As long as you get them done and the are accepted it shouldn't be a big deal, good luck!
-
What are your other degrees in?
B.S. in Parks and Recreation Management, spent 10 years working on the river.
-
What color is your uniform?
White lab coat White scrub top "Eggplant" scrub bottoms White shoes Ugh!!! Not a great look on any guy!

Legacy Health RN Residency 2011
The rub is that I've got a pretty good deal going on here in NC, work is paying for school and a job after passing NCLEX is nearly guaranteed. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket. If I got something like the Legacy Residency or something similar I would move to OR no question but with the current glut of nurses being churned out of the PDX area I would be less inclined to make the move without something solid in terms of first job out of school. @scaredtorelocate: Well, I never switched my phone number so I am still rocking a PDX area code and I suppose I could use my sisters address in Scappoose on my resume?!?!?! @lilredrn: I can't PM yet (only 10 posts so far) but I would be very interested to be in contact with the person that came in from out of state if they would be willing to correspond with me, I could PM you my email once I am able to if you thought that could be a possibility. I am also interested in the timeframe of the timeline of when you had to have your application materials in to Legacy, 1st interview, 2nd interview, when you found out that you were accepted into the program and when the program started. Being in NC I will be out of school the first week of May and ideally would take NCLEX at the end of that month. Thoughts?

27 Changing careers ahhh!! Good Idea?
Good luck man, sounds familiar. Keep your head down and get the work done. Can't speak to the date bit much I'm in a traditional program, meaning I am the oldest (35) by over ten years. Not my kind of dating pool. Cheers!
