Hello all,
I am a BSN graduate from the Philippines, and an RN there and in New York.
I'm sure you guys know that international BSN graduates has not been getting through the California BRN since year 2010, because of the issue that foreign graduates (esp. from the Philippines) lack units during our college / Nursing years. This said, I know zero of my colleagues who applied to take the NCLEX got their ATT, since o'10.
I recently applied to have my license in New York endorsed to California, and noted that one requirement they had is that I must provide my college transcripts from where I graduated (again, in the Philippines).
I am currently in CA, but I am thinking to just move to New York, if I am only waiting for my application to get rejected because I lack units, or cases/caseloads.
I'm looking for someone with the same case I am in, or who was in the same case.. Please help me, should I just go to New York? :(
Look i know she is filipino, and first thing we are all in the medical field, i dont think there is anything bad going to happen with like that. Having the same problem for this case, we all just want to be in the same page.
How do you know that from random posts on a public message board? Quite a few imposters have been discovered. It's your information, presumably you are an adult and can comprehend the risks of posting personal information on an internationally read message board. Members have had issues with email addresses posted in the forums due to spam and data webcrawlers. It's up to the member to make an informed choice to leave personal contact info in a public forum. Good luck.
Hello!I am currently facing the same issue. Looking for schools near me. Anybody here care to give updates and details, please? I just don't know what to do.. Thank you!
How many months did it take for you to know the result of your application?
You can search other threads for schools they went to.
Applied around first week of August. Took me quite a while to complete all the requirements they were asking for such as clinical cases and academic calendar. Personally went there to submit requirements so I've continually received updates through letters from time to time.
Yes, I've been searching and started calling some schools near me. Thank you!
Hi. Has anyone experienced a licensing officer call them? I applied for CA endorsement last Oct and a licensing called me up yezterday and asked me to submit copies of my passport and SS card.... he didn't mention about taking courses or what..and since i went mental blank I forgot to ask.. Anyway, if i need to take extra class, would he have mentioned it or will i just receive a letter from CA BRN? I submitted all the documents needed for the application. THANKS.
Yes I have been called by a license officer before and they will ask you for a copy of your passport the one all the pages of your passport because they want to see when you enter the country and they want to see the original stamps when your passport stamped upon entry of the country the loss last for a copy of your Social Security card for verification just make a color copy of your so security card and colored copies of your passport and mail it off to the board to the international adolescence and they'll evaluate it
