Ready to Apply CT Community Colleges- Nursing Program 2011

U.S.A. Connecticut

Hello all,

It's almost that time of year again! I'm applying to the 2011 class which the application period begins this November 1st. We have two months to prepare our applications! Anyone else applying? I've seen the support the last year's class has with this sort of thread and I figured there should be one started for 2011 applicants. What is your TEAS score? GPA? A&P I grade? What were the averages that the 2010 applicants had and they are now starting the fall 2010 program?? Good luck!!!

I called TRCC yesterday and they pulled my transcripts for evaluation. They said everyone gets that letter if they aren't currently enrolled in classes there (I took all my pre req'd at Middlesex). May be worth a follow up call to make sure they get evaluated!

Was there a specific form to use for proof of immunizations, or did you all just copy your immunization record? Somehow I managed to overlook that too...

I just sent over the sheet that the doctor's office gave me with nothing else. There was no form as far as I know.

It's kind of weird to have it as part of the application...I just glazed right over that, assuming that it was required prior to starting classes, just like the CPR certification. Whoops...I had to get a titer for chicken pox today!

If you have taken classes at the school then they have your imunizations. They wouldn't let you be admitted to the school without them so you should be all set.

This may have already been posted somewhere on this thread, but did anyone go to an info session where they said when they thought they would be making decisions by? None of my "outside of the CC" info has been updated on the website, just that it arrived.

Yeah, none of my stuff is updated either... I went to an info session almost a year ago where they said 2nd week of April, but two other people on here who went to more recent sessions & were told the end of March. I hope they're right :D

Just called trcc and they update alphabetically by your last name and there is one person doing all the work! I was also told they received 237 applicants for 96 spots. Also, if you do not get a letter by march 15th thats good you are probably not missing anything. We will not hear about decisions unil late April, early May, I was told.
