Hello! I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who is applying for the RN program at Riverside City College for Fall 2019! Let's all chat! :)

I think this is because of CEP honestly. It’s completely new so there is a lot of uncharted territory with establishing the program. They pretty much warned us about being the guinea pigs. I applied for Spring 2019 and I got that denial on-time ( I forgot to submit my TEAS and they listed that as the reason why I was rejected).

Same here. I couldn’t wait around and loose the opportunity at another college. They stretched it too far. Bummer!

I agree 100%. I think they tried to move up the date sooner, but with the introduction of the CEP and large influx of ADN applicants, it wasn’t possible to meet that original deadline. I don’t blame any of you for taking other available slots at other schools. I’d do the same if I in your shoes. Stupidly, I didn’t apply elsewhere.
Not sure if u guys know this, but for ones who didn’t apply or get into the CEP, there’s other options. APU has a RN to BSN program that u can apply for once u have completed one semester of an ADN program. U can get an early start and take classes in the summer and once ur ADN is done u can obtain your BSN in two more semesters. How much is the CEP program?

That’s sounds great! I am going to look into that. Thank you ☺️
