I'm sorry to say this but it is highly unlikely that you will pass. It is possible that you could receive a good popup after your exam has been grade for a second time, if determined that questions were graded incorrectly and at which point you remain at or above passing level for the last 60 questions of your exam. Otherwise, your result will remain the same.

By now, I am assuming 24 hours has already past, just wait another 24 and do the pearson vue trick and or check with your BON. Running out of time doe not necessary mean fail, be patient, and hope all goes well with you. Good luck!

Stop trying the trick. Wait until tomorrow and get the fast results.

Ok so I took the nclex pn today and I had 5 hours which I used the whole 5 hours and ran out of time on question 188. So I started freaking out as I know they will determine pass or fail based on how I did on my last 60 questions. Anyway I did the pvt which didn't give me the pop up I wanted and said cc declined and to contact the bank (I did wrong credit card expiration). So as of right now I'm pretty sure I failed. But I wonder if I check my pvt tomorrow will it be the same or can it change since I already tried prematurely without waiting the full 24 hours.

Someone help plzzzzzz!!!!!

Do not redo the PVT. You need to now wait for quick results or the BoN for results. It may have been a test charge that declined because of wrong expiration but you will never know until you get official results.

Repeating the PVT does not result in more accurate or valid guesses, it only increases the chance that you will really be charged. In your case, you already WERE charged, so the PVT is no longer an option at all.

Sit tight, wait for BoN notification of passing or failing; that's all you can do now (unless your State participates in Quick Results, in which case pay the eight bucks and find out for sure).

Likelihood isn't high that you passed, but since nothing is known for certain until the writing is on the paper in the envelope.....you'll just have to wait and see.

Would it have been better to finish the test? Taking 205 vs. 185?

Irrelevant. It's not better or worse it's your performance towards the passing standard

No I meant since now I'm being graded on the last 60 would it have been better to be graded on the whole 205? Rather than only 60?

Statistically no difference. You either maintained above the passing line in all domains or you did not

No matter how many questions you had when you ran out of time... you would still be graded with the last 60 questions u had... that's what i know...
