I have been in Ramp program for close to 2 months now. Beside's my initial blood test being positive of PEth all my subsequent testings has been negative. Including hair, nails and 4 different urine(all different options).
Last week on July 9th they sent me for an evaluation for alcohol. The evaluator took a random UDS which was negative for alcohol. Her recommendation to Ramp was that at present time I don't need any further outpatient weekly treatment, which Ramp over preceded their decision forcing me to go for weekly treatment which I agreed on.
July 10th I ended up having a confrontation with my facilitator regarding Ramp's forceful decision and being very upset/angry.
July 12th I had option 5 urine drug screen which I found out this morning is positive. Surprise!!!! Surprise!!!!!
I went to Quest diagnostic this morning and was told that I don't have any record of me ever being there for urine drug screen. I showed them my donor copy and requested further investigation as why am I not in the computer that I was there on July 12th for my screening?
The lab technician gave me some further information to call, which I did. I am non-existent in their computer. However, I have positive result from FSS which is Ramp's result lab.
I further called in all my other lab testing sites where my results were negative and sure behold I was present in all their computer information.
Also, even if we are paying for all our testing we don't have any access to our results except negative or positive. Which in itself is utter nonsense.
So my question is how did I disappear completely for my positive results yet was present in all other lab testing for my negative results ??? Very very fishy and highly unethical and illegal.
I called my lawyer this morning. Waiting for his response. This all is a nightmare to say the least:(((((

So I am prescribed pain medication the exact one listed above I was instructed to contact ramp I talked with u on another blog post they told me for me to get my license I have to be evaluated first do I have to tell ramp all the medications I'm taking ? Also because I'm not working right now is there anyway I can just request the cheapest drug test the urine one or it's mandatory I have to have hair test and when they mean hair is it hair from my head or my arm or something I never had a hair test before the one person said it's $150 for hair and you have to do it every 3 months the lady that I asked at the BON I asked her how long this program will be she said it will be fast If everything goes smoothly meaning less then a year is how I took it like a few months if that ? Also someone wrote to me that I should hire a lawyer first before signing into the program I don't see how I can do that if the BON says I have to comply with ramp before they give me my license I don't see what a lawyer would or could do exactly?
Honestly, I am so sorry this is happening to you. I graduated six months ago from a 5 year contract and I have seen and heard so much in that program. Please do not even waste your money on a lawyer. The attorneys will act like you have a case and they don't have resources to go against RAMP not even the NJBON whatever RAMP says goes. They don't make any provisions or care if you can afford it's not their problem and the will tell you to forfeit your license and many did and came back due to finances. Nurses had to work at Ihop to pay for the program. They said NJSNA is working on behalf of the participants never happened. Whoever told you the program is less than a year is not being honest. If they are negotiating a year or less take it because that means they don't have anything legitimate to hold you in but you have to do some time so it looks good. 1 yr is better than 2 yrs that they rarely give which is still better than 5 yrs which 90% are doing. No matter what that more you kick and scream you become a target I have seen it. Be smart, pray and soon it will be over. Don't trust anyone! Best advice I can give
I 100% agree, sometimes If the attorney has experience dealing with RAMP they might be able to help if it's a special circumstance but my experience has been if there is one DUI pre license it's 2 years, if there is more than one DUI pre license it's 5 years. No matter how long ago it was

So I don't have a. DUI the one charge was Simple assault that got dropped and the other one was drug possession originally but it's because I didn't have my medication in the bottle so once I showed my bottle it got dropped down to Loitering charges in New Jersey.
So I'm not sure why I neeed to do this program maybe if it's because the medication they found at the time was pain medication for my knee surgery but I don't actually have a dui or drug charge so I don't no why I'm being asked to this program maybe because I just got arrested in general ?
for the hair test samples do they send you to labcorp or quest or do they send you to a private place ? Do you know the name of the facility they use for the drug testing
If you are currently prescribed chronic Percocet, RAMP will likely want you monitored and under the care of a pain specialist to ensure patient safety. I don't think a lawyer will change RAMP's opinion on this. If you are involved with RAMP, you do need to disclose all prescribed medications.
Anyone with any criminal charges or misdemeanor. Put it like this if you were arrested and in nursing or going into nursing they catch up with you. One woman was in Florida the dui was 15 yrs ago when she came back to NJ she had to do Ramp even though it was settled. The hair test is done at certain facilities not lab corp or quest

Was she found guilty of the dui?
I seen everything in that program seriously. Not making this up. It's not worth it, we worked so hard for our license. Even though I graduated I live a sober life, I'm scared. I was in the program for positive Marijuana on a pre employment had no clue they report it, I just thought they don't hire you I waited 30 days after smoking to test and was honest. They could have said don't risk it but no they said don't worry. Once I got into Ramp I thought no Marijuana only I had no clue I had to abstain from everything (I was in denial also) and had wine in the first month of ramp. I got 5 yrs.
