Hey @mel1210 is there any way I can email you I have a few questions about this some people are telling me to get a lawyer so I don't have to do ramp I do not have a drug or alcohol problem so why do I have to spend so much money and do this program ? One of my arrest where dismissed and one was a disorderly conduct charge both non drug or alcohol related charges? So I'm confused why I have to do this program...of thousands of dollars of drug testing.. as far as medication goes I don't I have to tell them but then what happens if I have to do the program and then I tell them I'm not on any meds and then in it shows up on a drug test from ramp I just don't understand why I have to do ramp if my charges of arrest where not drug or alcohol related ? I'm so confused

@Nursinggirl17 so I have a few questions I do not have a drug or alcohol problem so I'm not sure why the board is suggesting I do this evaluation before I get my license? dose the evaluation cost anything? Also what will they ask me I'm guessing they are making me do the program because of my past charges or because I take prescription pain meds there were 2 charges one was dropped that was with a fight with my ex girlfriend and the second charge was bcuz I had pain medication in my car and I was in a bad area and I got pulled over and I didn't have my pills in my original perscription bottle they where inna pill dispenser/ weekly organizer which they originally charged me with possession on my meds but it was dismissed and down graded to a disorderly persons offense when I braught in my script bottle .. so I'm not sure is it the charges or my meds that's why they are making me do this program ? they say if the evaluation goes well they will give me my license... but if I'm on controlled medication I will have to do this program for a long time correct or ? I'm wondering if I stop taking my prescription pain medication will they let me finish the program within a week or so they didn't tell me why I have to do the program though? so im not sure if its the arrest or my meds ? my thing is .. is that if im prescribed pwin meds are they going to increase my time to do more time on the program ? becayse I have seen other post where ppl where taking anxiety n anti depressants an there time was increased ? can anyone answer this for me please? also if I stop my pain medications do I still have to do this program?

@KathyMomRN I'm percribed pain medication and I passed my boards a while ago.. they didn't tell me why I have to do ramp but I heard a girl told them she was on antidepressants and anxiety medicine and they made her to an automatic 5 years so that's why if I tell them I take pain medication by hippa do I have to tell them and aren't they breaking hippa law by getting my prescription records ? Its prescribed to me but I'm not trying to add more time and I can just stop taking my pain medication all together before I start ramp.

I need urgent help asap so .. In 2016 I got a simple assault with my ex gf and we had a fight and then that was dropped and n than I got another charge it was a disorderly conduct or I think it was as called disorderly persons offense in 2022 I got upset with the police officer because he was trying to say I was selling drugs because I didn't have my medications in a prescription bottle I had them in a pill dispenser Nikki/ organizer and I was in a bad area of town when this whole thing happened... the whole town itself is not a good area so I I had to. Take it to court to show that it was okay for these medications to be in my possession another hard thing is is that technically the whole town I love mso I'm not sure if I'm being sent to ramp because of my past charges or because of my prescription medication that I was prescribed my big question is when I go to get evaluated I do not have a drug or alcohol problem but if I say I take prescription medication will they increase my time at ramp and now if I don't tell them I take any prescription medication is it true they request the last 3 years of medication print out from my pharmacy isn't this like hippa or is it required that we give a print out of our medication history? If I say I take prescription controlled medication.. will they increase my time on ramp and if I don't say I take any medication can I get I trouble ? Please let me know thanks

So I don't have a. DUI the one charge was Simple assault that got dropped and the other one was drug possession originally but it's because I didn't have my medication in the bottle so once I showed my bottle it got dropped down to Loitering charges in New Jersey. So I'm not sure why I neeed to do this program maybe if it's because the medication they found at the time was pain medication for my knee surgery but I don't actually have a dui or drug charge so I don't no why I'm being asked to this program maybe because I just got arrested in general ? for the hair test samples do they send you to labcorp or quest or do they send you to a private place ? Do you know the name of the facility they use for the drug testing

Are you in the program in nj ? Also where u a nurse and then had to go into the program or for you to get your license you had to finish the program also is every ones expirenxe the same everyone has to do the 3 hair drug tests and 3 urine tests and get an appointment with an evaluator do they reccomend who you have to see for the evaluation also they don't make you go to like AA meetings that are free ? You have to pay for these meetings I'm winding if everyone's had to go through the same exact process with the same exact testing and evaluations? or is it based on each case ? -another thing is how do people get lawyers for this if the non says I have to complete the program before they give me my license ? one last thing Also if I'm on medications I had some questions about them but they are a little more personal is there anyway you can email me and I can talk to you in private by chance ? So I am prescribed pain medication the exact one listed above I was instructed to contact ramp I talked with u on another blog post they told me for me to get my license I have to be evaluated first do I have to tell ramp all the medications I'm taking ? Also because I'm not working right now is there anyway I can just request the cheapest drug test the urine one or it's mandatory I have to have hair test and when they mean hair is it hair from my head or my arm or something I never had a hair test before the one person said it's $150 for hair and you have to do it every 3 months the lady that I asked at the BON I asked her how long this program will be she said it will be fast If everything goes smoothly meaning less then a year is how I took it like a few months if that ? Also someone wrote to me that I should hire a lawyer first before signing into the program I don't see how I can do that if the BON says I have to comply with ramp before they give me my license I don't see what a lawyer would or could do exactly?
