Hello I want to know about drug testing for nurses for the hair drug testing do they send you out to lapcorp or quest or they have there own in network company that provides the drug testing also how much hair will they have to take from me ? how often ? I wanted to ask what is exactly tested on the hair samples can you list the names they test for ? Or can you look below and let me know if it's the 18,16 or 6 panel When I looked it up they have different ones - Tests for 18 Drugs: Amphetamines / Methamphetamines / Ecstasy (MDMA) / MDEA / MDA / THC / Opiates (Includes Heroine (6-MAM) / Hydrocodone / Hydromorphone / Codeine / Morphine / Oxymorphone / Oxycodone) / PCP / Cocaine (Includes Benzoylecgonine / Cocaethylene / Norcocaine) or this one the 16 version Amphetamines ,amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA)Cocaine (metabolite) Marijuana (THC)Phencyclidine (PCP) Opiates Codeine Morphine Hydrocodone Heroin (6-monoacetylmorphine (6-AM)) Expanded Opiates Hydrocodone, morphine, OxycodonE, Oxymorphone ,Fentanyl, Norfentanyl ,Methadone And EDDP And lastly they have just the standard 6 panel Thc, opioids, pcp, meth, cocaine, Ecstasy (MDMA Also how long back dose it go back I read 90 days ? if someone can please help me out thanks

Yeah but my email said I have to get evaluated and if everything goes well they will send the BON my información an I can get my license.. They made it sound like it was a one time thing if everything went well like 1 evaluation 1 drug test and yeah that's all they never said anything about how long I guess they just wasn't to see if I am able to practice safe but I'm still not sure why they are making me do this in the first place is it because I had an arrest on my record and it got dropped it was not drug or alcohol related so I'm confused dose every one have to go through the same process like every one has to do 3-5 years with hair drug test every 3 months and urine every 3 weeks ? if someone can please let me know that would be helpful

@Nursejess1214 is there any way I can talk to you in private on messenger they said I would have to complete the program for them to give me my license ? but it says it's a voluntary program? So I'm kinda confused now have you went through this program or can I talk to privately please your the only person who has gotten back to me about anything if you can email me maybe or I'm not sure if there is private messages on this website I'm new here to this comment community I just read a hair sample is about 300-400 for a drug test which is crazy ? I can't just take urine test for $50-60$ is what I read I can afford this but I can't afford the nail and hair and blood tests and and I hear the evaluation alone is $500... with out sending out any drug test so yeah if anyone or you can please help me asap that would be great I really want my license as soon as possible

Hello everyone I passed my boards and I had 2 charges non drug related one in 2016 and one in 2022 the one charge got dropped I was asked to join the ramp program and when finished I can get my license I have a few questions for anyone who was in this program I no this is like an outpatient program and it includes meetings evaluation and drug testing I'm wondering if this is because I'm on medication? They didn't explain why I have to do this evaluation but I did read others peoples comments thay I will have to pay $350-250 dollars for a hair drug test ? And a nails drug test is $150 & I read the urine test is only $60. do they make you pay this much for these test ? Also dose anyone no if we are sent out for these tests ? Or do I go to a hospital or something? I'm confused on where I attend to ? if I'm on Medicaid insurance will the program send me to quest or lab corp and maybe my insurance company can pay for it ? im not working right now and I don't. Know how I will be able to afford this program and I really want my nursing licenses. Has anyone just had all urine test done and only had to pay the 50-60$ dollar test ? also can anyone tell me how this works after I call the number I was provided do I just have an initial interview over the phone then we set up an in person exam or evaluation. if anyone know anyone or has been through this ramp program can they please answer my few questions please thank you

Hello so ramp tests you for everything they test your blood and hair ? I thought it was only urine ? Also I have a shy bladder do they send you to a drug testing place like quest or lap corps or do they do the testing there at ramp

I have the same situation at you I submitted all my documents on July 3rd of this year and we are in August over a month I called and nothing they just told me that it's under legal review. And I asked how long and the one person said 15 days. And then I called again and they said I'm not sure who told you 15 days but your case is being reviewed and I asked if they got my documents and she said she don't know because it goes through a different department and she can't tell me anything so I hope I don't have to wait the 4 months did you keep calling or you physically went there in person ? @chickpea22
