Pay attention near the bottom of the article where she tries to buy AR 15s and lies on the forms. Quality person?
Should be found guilty but I don't think jail time is needed given she can no longer practice as a nurse and put other humans at risk.

It should be not guilty.
and if it isn’t, it will add to my reasons of why I should leave nursing.
Don’t talk to me about how she’s a bad nurse. I know she’s a bad nurse.
It’s not a reason to charge her with homicide.

She's not being charged with murder which would be over the top. She definitely fits the definition of what she's being charged with...reckless homicide. She was reckless and somebody died.

She sounds very entitled by her actions. Does she think a background check won't be done when she goes to buy a rifle? What a foolish, foolish woman. And claiming victimhood and blaming the hospital? I'm sorry, but the responsibility for this error falls squarely on her shoulders. She recklessly administered a dangerous drug and it killed a woman.

Can you imagine her with one of these...
I wonder if she would bother looking where she's shooting.

This ordeal has undoubtedly taken a toll on her mental health. She's probably on a downward spiral.

Agreed and that is truly unfortunate. While I believe she needs to face the music I am in no way relishing her discomfort. However, her last shenanigans have tempered my sense of mercy towards her.

I think she will be found guilty and the hospital won't take any responsibility . all the hospital will have to do is write up some more policies and procedures on the pyxsis, do some inservice trainings and showed they did that and they will be free and clear to continue to operate . no way they can shut down a multi million dollar educational/hospital for one nurse/mistake .

From what I have been able to tell, this was far from an easy drug error to make. There were multiple warnings along the way, which she apparently ignored. The final straw was that the medicat6ion had to be recostituted, which supposedly would require reading the label, which warned that this medication is a paralytic. There have been a lot of nursing mistakes that I can understand, and can chalk up to maybe the nurse being very busy or distracted. This isn't one of them.
