If the TBON had been doing their job appropriately the first time, it wouldn't have had to go to a criminal trial.

At least there's a provision that covers negligence. Let's hope the Kentucky BON actually does its jobs if a situation like the one the Tennessee BON so horribly bungled ever comes up.

Radonda is the worst case to use for this. It not only caused a death but a simple look at the bottle would have stopped her error. This was not something the hospital did. As for decriminalizing, I do understand it. I support families who still want to sue civilly.

this was incompetence that rose to the level of criminal negligence and someone is dead because of it.
