Or, $7,500 if you just want her virtually. Good to know that negligent homicide is such a lucrative endeavor.

yes, right that's the difference between criminal charges brought by the state and a civil claim for damages brought by a plaintiff
burden of proof for criminal cases is beyond a reasonable doubt (99.9% certain)
burden of proof in civil case is preponderance of evidence (50.1%)
are you suggesting that the family file a claim against RaDonda?
they've already been compensated
do you think she has some obligation to share her gig money with them?
do you think it would be a nice thing for her to do?
that's not how any of this works, and her behavior suggests that the Murphy's interests are the last thing on her mind

I have some theories:
1. her negligence and recklessness was so egregious that it has to be aggressively and continuously re-framed as a med error and she needs to be presented as the real victim because otherwise there's reason to say 'wait a minute...' when someone trots out "most trusted profession"
2. Fear is a powerful motivator and KYNA, ANA etc al always need more members for more money so this is their opportunity and they're not going to waste it
3. RaDonda's a young white woman - the poster girl for nursing in a field that's 80% white and 89% women - and racism is baked in to nursing (note: we can use racism to help white nurses as much as we can use it to hurt Black nurses)

Or, we live in a society with millions of people who look for reasons to make excuses rather than accept accountability.

Of course I don't think the family should sue Radonda because they have been financially compensated. Though they will never be emotionly compensated for the loss of their loved one. What we do know is that Radonda has questionable judgement as shown by actions since the error that got her prosecuted.
It's estimated that her legal costs are somewhere in the vacinity of $38,000.00. I am not sure if this amount can be discharged through Bankruptcy but it a tidy some of money to be sure. I know at one time she had a Gofundme Page but it's no longer up.
On your third point which is correct that Radonda is not in anyway concerned with the victim of her crime but her self interest boarders on Mental illness.

AFAIK she has no remaining legal bills, GFM raised $200k+/- and fines referenced above were covered with money raised under 48 hours; the judge did not order restitution in her sentencing; it appears she and her husband own a farm to raise and sell produce, eggs, pasture raised meat etc, and now she's getting paid speaking gigs at $5k+ net for an hour

Highly doubtful and overestimating her altruism.
