"male" scrub top patterns

Published

does anyone here know of where i could get scrub tops with a more masculine pattern...i've seen some like cars,boats,sports,etc...i'd assume it would be an online store. i'm looking for more like a whole line of male patterns then just a store with a couple of different patterns for men.

thanks in advance,

Ummm.... we wore all black scrubs in the ED I worked at. Looked very slick, I must say, both the guys and gals. Not morbid at all! (they do show every bit of lint you come in contact with, though...) I do occasionally wear print scrub tops, but hey., I work NICU/PICU. Heck, I have to wear LAVENDER scrubs now in NICU. I should get a special all-access Man Card for that!

I am urgent care for a hospice overnights and when I wear my black scrubs, I am either referred to as "The Angel of Death" or "Johnny Cash" in all the facilities I usually go to.

Men don't wear patterns. Period. For ANY reason. No room for discussion.... as in "Man-law"

Check out www.sassyscrubs.com for a variety of male scrub patterns. Click on Men's Lodge under fabric selection tab.

I didn't read all the posts but, what about sewing a pocket over the left side of the chest that had a little design on it like a guitar or a leopard or a fancy car?? That would be cool(IMHO). ((((thinking business idea)))))

Just a rather obscure mid-80's movie reference. It was a line by Bill Murray in "Stripes".

Well as the op. I do wear all black or all navy blue now, but I want to add a little color by wearing black emt style pants with a colored top. However, I was thinking that also having a pattern every now and then would be nice too. I see nothing wrong with all black and not one person has ever commented on my wearing all black, so I assume the public is ok with it. I appreciate all of the positive suggestions that I received from you all. Thanks again!!

Over the course of the last few years all the uniform rules I held as Gospel have come crashing down. We nurses no longer wear only white shoes. Black, which we all KNOW to be inappropriate actually looks pretty cool.

While I haven't seen many patterns I'd want to wear so far...it could happen.

As I see it , if we are men enough to work in nursing, we can wear just about anything WE want to wear.
