"Back to School" Sales

This is kind of a silly topic... But who else is excited for back to school sales? I love school supplies and there are so many good deals during the sales... I'm also a sucker for good deals, I almost never buy anything unless is it on sale or on clearance... School supplies... On sale are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Anyone else excited?

I should add that I'm starting my BSN program in the Fall, so I have excitement of starting nursing school AND buying school supplies. I might get a little crazy by time the sales roll around, but I can't wait!

Sales where I live usually start right before the tax free days and a little after. That will be in August and I can't wait to stock up!

I can't be trusted in staples! I can spend hours in there lol if I don't make it through nursing school (fingers crossed and god willing I do) I will be satisfied with a job with my own office :D

But heck yea I'm too excited! However Im not excited that once those sales start it means school is right around the corner and summer vaca is over.... Awwwwww Maaaannn!

Starting my BSN program in August and I'll be hawking the sales too! I have a stockpile of loose leaf paper but I def need to restock on copy paper, ink, highlighters, binders, pens etc. I also found out from joining SNA I get a discount at office depot on select items. You already know I'll be taking advantage of that! I'm totally the person wanting to save money.... I'm pinching pennies researching multiple online retailers for my textbooks. No way I'm paying almost $1000 for those suckers at the bookstore ;)

Amazon has a special "Back to School" section I have been stalking. They said it would be up in July.. I have been checking since July 1st but nothing yet! I am a prime member (which I recommend for other users) and will most likely be getting some cheap office supplies with free shipping from Amazon.

The best deals on stethoscopes are during Black Friday and Nurses Week. The back to school sales were "meh" in my book but I wanted a cardiology on sale. Scrubs are also really good.

I know my school's uniform top provider does a back to school sale and you can get a code if you friend them on Facebook.

In general, I used to love working in a general department store (Wal-mart-like) where I could know the sales beforehand.

I LOVE OFFICE SUPPLIES. All kinds! Ordering office supplies will be one of the things I miss when I have to quit my current administration job when I become an RN :)

Well you might have a future as a manager. My nurse manager also loves ordering office supplies

When would people say back to school sale usually start?? Any recommendations on where to buy cheapest office supplies? shoes for clinicals?

My Walmart has back to school sales now! I had to run away I wanted to buy everything! I did get 2 of these really cool folders that have 8 pockets. Perfect for my loose school papers and one for clinical!

Even though I am not in school anymore, I still find it a great way to stock up on items I use-pens, printing paper, stickies, etc.

It's a great time to buy a laptop, gadgets, etc as well.

This weekend here in Florida, any items you buy have not tax, and now they are including computers too, darn it, had I know that I would have waited to get my computer ;(
