Hello everyone. I 1st took my RN Nclex in Ohio in December 2016. I got 265 questions and failed... I had to wait a little longer though because the scanner couldn't read my palm at the testing center so my results were on hold. Fast forward to Today March 29th, I re took the exam and again got 265 questions. I told myself I wasn't going to do the PVT, but I did and once again my results are on hold because the scanner couldn't read my palm again. I am like sick to my stomach. I hear that if you get 265 questions, you have essentially made the test crazy because it doesn't know with certainty that you are above or below the passing line. When I got my CPR it said I was near passing in 6 categories, above in 1 and below in 1. I am going crazy over here. Has anyone else gotten 265 2x and passed?

I am a repeat test taker. I have gotten the entire test too and life happened and I had time against me with a few deaths in the family and a car accident. Let me tell you this don't be discouraged you are close sign up to re take as soon as possible. Take a little break for yourself then dive back into the studying and work on the weak area. You are close stay positive and don't give up. You will get it.
I haven't found out the results of the 2nd test yet, so I'm still holding out hope and crossing my fingers. Sorry to hear about everything going on with you.

I also took the test yesterday and had 265. Not feeling very confident about it and tried the PVT but my results are also on hold. I unplugged my computer by accident so not sure if that has something to do with it. How long did you have to wait the first time to get your results?
Good luck!
I live in VA. It takes a week for us we don't have the 48 hour quick results. I'll be honest it's sad how this test controls our lives. I've been in healthcare for many years and there are good people that can't pass and others that stink and pass with flying colors.
My advice is to stay positive and know if you can do it. No matter what typeof questions you get or how many everyone does differently on this test. Getting the entire test means you stayed in the game which is a good sign. But the BON has it set up to where you can never tell who passed or failed because we all get different level questions and it's impossible to predict.
I got the bad pop up, put in my correct credit card number and it charged me $200, but on Pearson it still says my results are not available and on the OH board of nursing it says In Review and Exam Eligible. It will say this until you pass or fail. Once you pass it says Active and once you fail it says DENIED!! Honestly feeling defeated. I guess the way I figured it, If I failed I have to pay the $200 anyways and I might as well do it while I have the money and if I did by some miracle pass then I don't care about the money. Trust me I have done worse with $200. Good Luck to you also.
I'm honestly staying up until midnight to see if it refreshes and then going to bed. You're exactly right. This test has consumed my life since December and its going to continue to do so until I pass. What study prep did you guys use? I used Board Vitals and it wasn't very helpful. I've had a few people tell me uworld. What do you guys think?
As a repeat test taker and just finding out I finally passed yesterday I recommend Uworld to the fullest

I recommend you visit the NCSBN's website and make sure you have a fair knowledge on all the areas you need to know for the exams...its all listed there. Then go in for UWORLD and make sure u get the rational for all the answers....that's what I did and passed the first time as a Ghanaian nurse.......I'm now an American nurse lol....Good luck!

I personally know 2 nurses who had to answer all 265 questions and both passed.
If by chance you do not, keep your head up.
You'll get there.
