I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!
Hi everyone!!For those of you who have done the health screening, do you remember which vaccines they want documentation of? Thanks so much. I'm looking forward to the 23rd!
I am not sure which specific ones they care about OTHER than the Hep B series. I had mine but they drew a titer for me to make sure I had actually gotten protection from my series. I would honestly just take all the vaccine records you have. I took my card that had vaccines on it from elementary school :)
Has anyone gotten their GN permit yet? How long did it take for it to post the BON after your affidavit was submitted to the BON? How long did it take for your ATT to come in? I accepted a GN position at St Davids and we start on the 16th but they won't let me go to orientation if my GN permit isn't processed by the start date. Freaking out

I took the NCLEX last july. I highly recommend doing the hurst review. There are definitely people who fail the NCLEX and don't start the residency as some of my friends last year got last minute positions that way by taking someone's spot. Not to freak anyone out, but take the nclex seriously and study as much as you can before you take it.
