I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!
So I wasn't able to make it to the February open house, and I am reapplying again for the October cohort. Can anyone tell me how the open house was? I am going to one in July and I want to make a good impression! How many people went to the February one?? Are there long lines to meet the managers? Thanks and congratulations to all who accepted!
It was briefly mentioned by the Recruiter, A.O. She said that due to the graduation dates of some schools, they were concerned they wouldn't be able to take the NCLEX on time. I am SO glad it is not being pushed back. I am ready to get started!
Also, apparently they only contact you if there is an issue with your background checks, drug screen, etc. A friend who works for Seton currently told me that.
Has anyone gotten their ATTs yet? I know it takes around 15 days from graduation. I would really like to test the first week of June!

I would email the nurse manager directly and ask what are the next steps that you need to be taking in the application process. I also attached my resume to the email. That is what I did and the next day HR was calling me to set up an interview. I did not have any of the nurse managers emails, so I just called the hospital and then got directed to the floor secretary. I asked her for the nurse managers email, and she gave it to me. Hope this helps
