Questions about Seton Versant RN Residency in Austin

U.S.A. Texas

Published

I have just been accepted into the Seton RN residency and can answer any questions you may have. I will also be creating a post throughout my experience in the residency. Ask away!

I graduated June 10th, my school informed me that they sent out our affidavit to the BON on the 15th, and received my ATT on the 27th. On the BON website it says my GN permit authorization started on the 29th.

ok cool. fingers crossed its the same timeline as yours bc then ill get it right on time. My school submitted our affidavit on June 2nd. Yours took 14 days so if mine takes 14 days then ill get it right on time. *fingers crossed*

Has anyone received their schedules yet?

I received my schedule for the first week. Arnela said we should have them by June 20th.

Also, I graduated May 7th, TBON received my AIG May 9th. I received my ATT May 16th and my GN permit was activated May 20th.

Yeah, I saw that Arnela said to call if we hadn't received them by the 20th... hopefully I will get mine soon. Do you know how long it takes after NCLEX to get official results? I'm wondering if that's what they are waiting on.

You can get unofficial results 48 hours after you have taken your test :)

Looking forward to meeting everyone Monday!!! Well... at least seeing everyone ?

Do we need to provide our physical RN license on Monday? I have my license # but I haven't received my actual license in the mail yet.

I'm only bringing a printout of my license from the BON website with the license number and everything on it.

ok...I'll do the same.

Excited to see/meet everyone tommorow! I know I already asked everyone this, but I keep getting mixed signals from the emails I am getting from different people... but scrubs are okay to wear tomorrow right? Or is business casual required.

The most recent email I got from Arnela said business casual or scrubs so I'm definitely sticking with scrubs. Excited for tomorrow!
