265 questions, what to do next?

Published

I took my test this morning and end up with the maximum 265 questions. I don't know how to explain what I'm feeling right now. I got a lot of SATA maybe around 40 questions which I am very poor with, a lot of EKG maybe around 20-30 which again I am very poor with also, who do you see first questions a lot, I didn't even count which one is which. It was so difficult, nothing compares to kaplan q bank, kaplan q trainers, It was hard. I am clueless about my answers so now I am trying to ready my self for a FAILED result, I know I have to stay positive but I can't. It is really upsetting, depressing, mix of different feelings. I can't barely remember the questions all I know is it was hard questions that I have no clue how to answer it. :(

Good luck Mrsmay! You can do it! 75 or 265 Good luck!

For me it was hard, but you know we are different maybe you will have different experience but so far I spoke to a lot of people and they all said the same thing NCLEX is difficult.

As it should be considering you are taking care of people. I have no idea about the pop up, PVT, etc..because I took this test over 20 years ago, when you had to wait 6 weeks for a mailed letter. However, nothing has changed when it comes to wondering if one has passed or failed. It's such an awful place to be.

Good luck to you and I can't wait to see a smiley icon!! :)

i guess everybody felt that way after doing the exam @feofeo .. coz i had the same feeling after too,., i don't wanna give you a false hopes but i did PVT too 6 hours after my exam till i got the result 2 days after,., still, I'm getting a good pop-up, which i assume PVT is an accurate indicator,., then i received the letter from the licensing division after, and it says i passed too,., so don't worry guys,. all is well,.,, leave it all to "HIM",., :)

my 48 hrs is over but I don't know if its 48 hours of pearson vue business days or 48 hrs after I took my test, still no result yet. This is driving me insane. I may have to take meds for my nerves.

I believe it's 48 hours from when you took the test....but with a good pop up, truly, there is no need to worry :)

Feofeo, did you pass? Im dying to know! Im still waiting to get in for fall to start a nursing program, but saw this topic when browsing this morning. As pre-nurses, nursing students, nursing graduates and first time nursing job applicants, it is one heck of a ride! Hang in there!
