85% pass the first time and the majority that test come out thinking that they did not make it.
The number of questions that you received has not bearing on determining if you did not pass.
Please wait until you get your actual results before deciding that you need to prepare once again.

I PASSED!!!! I cant believe it!!! i was crying when i saw the word "pass" beside status!!! ahhhh!!!! what an amazing blessing and relief!!
while reading your post,i feel like some quite a relief for me.I took the test july 18 the 5th time already and got 265 q's too.I've been ending up with 265 q's eversince i'm taking the test.I'ts really hard on me ending up like this again.I wanna HOPE to pass but the feeling of being failed again still there.Your post that u passed with 265 gives me hope that hopefully it'll be a success for me this time.

Hey everyone, I know this is going to sound so typical but please hear me out. i took the nclex rn today, and took it to the full 265 questions. i didnt feel confident about most of my answers and i am preparing myself to see the word "fail" when i log in. i'm working on a burn/trauma unit as a GN, and the people i work with are awesome, but telling my nurse manager will be extremely hard for me. im very book smart, but honestly, the three books i used didnt help prepare me for the questions. i know how to prepare for the next attempt, just wanted to see if anyone else was just as stressed!!!
