Does anybody know the NCLEX pass rates for the following schools:
Borough of Manhattan Community College
LaGuardia Community College
New York City College of Technology
I am planning on getting an associate's degree in one of these schools. If anyone has more info on these school, it would be good.

Sorry, I am not familiar with those schools. I do know that if you call any of them they have to tell you what the last few years pass rates were. I just graduated from St. Vincent's in Staten Island. They hada 88% pass rate. My class had 46 graduates and only 2 or 3 failed. GOod luck.

Hi
I just graduated from Queensborough Community College in Dec,2004. QCC has the highest NCLEX 1st time passes in the 5 boroughs, and is rated #2 in NYstate. The program is tough, but you can do it.

There is a man inquiring about St Vincent, NYU and CSI. Perhaps you can advise him. His signs on as Chestrockwell, in the New York forum.

You can contact the New York State Board of Nursing and get the latest NCLEX pass rates for any school. I know my nursing school did not publish theirs and there wasn't any website to get this information as there are for other states.

peter...i hope your GPA is up there, the schools you've listed are pretty tough to get into the nursing program. I was at BMCC for two years they didn't even look at my 3.30GPA. Good luck! and keep your options open.

Graduated from Laguardia Community College. :balloons:
Our pass rate is, I believe, 97%. We have one of the best nursing programs in NY. Last I heard, the lowest GPA that got in the program was a 3.8. Good luck!

How do you go about doing this? I tried, but couldn't obtain information on how to gather this information.

Don't know about their NCLEX rates, but the last time I heard NYC Tech is not an accredited Nursing program, I could totally be wrong about that, but I just thought I'd mention it so you can check it out. It may have changed since then.
They are all CUNY schools, so the tuition is a great value, which means it is very, very competitive. I took one prereq. at BMCC and I think they don't even consider you if you don't have like a 3.9 in the "core classes", and no recomendations, essay or personal statements considered (as far as I know)
I'm rambling...
