Queens University Summer 2017 Start

Just started my application to Queens University in NC. Waiting to hear whether I got accepted to the university before I can submit my ABSN application. Applications are not due until February, but wanted to go ahead and get a head start. Anyone else applying to start in May?

Hi All, I am following this group since long, I applied in ABSN program as a Foreign Graduate, But since I was short of 2 GED, I was offered in BSN program of 2 years. I took the offer and now starting in Aug 28th. They offered me on Feb 16th. I dunno how much of you guys were offered BSN instead of ABSN. I am looking to meet BSN people soon. I am a local Boy in charlotte and lucky to got into Queens.

Hi CharlotteNC16, have you started looking at textbooks online at Amazon? I typically don't purchase my books through Amazon. I normally get them through the school bookstore or Chegg. Let me know what you find online. If the deals are good I might consider. I don't know if I should rent or buy my books. A lot of my friends who are nurses have kept textbooks they felt like they would need later. I know you said Amazon offers the option to buy after rental.

Hi guys does anyone know how to login to the @myqueens.edu email? How do we find out our user name?

Hi Jmsith0508, the username will be last name and initial of your first name, EX- Jane Doe- Username will be [email protected].

Hi Jsmith0508, I got the link to log into my queens email in the email sent by admissions titled "Review Your New Student Checklist". They've sent that email a couple of times in the past month or so. There are a lot of helpful links in that email (how to access financial aid, your schedule, registering your vehicle to park on campus etc) so try searching the inbox that you check regularly. I think you can also go to "www.mail.queens.edu". My username is my last name followed by the first letter of my first name. Your email address is your username "@queens.edu". If your name or username is one those names that multiple students could have, you may want to check with admissions or the IT department to see what your username is. Hope this helps!

I've been debating between several different programs - ABSN, BSN and also Masters Entry. Are you able to share why you decided to do the traditional BSN over the ABSN? The thought crosses my mind on a daily basis, so any input/advice would be greatly appreciated! Feel free to reply to this thread or DM me.

Hey guys! I started a facebook group for all ABSN and traditional BSN students that will be starting at Queens this year! I think it will be beneficial for both groups to be connected on campus, so that is why I decided to combine them in one group.
