hi all i am a indian nurse..i have done my bsc nursing in the year of 2005....i am planning to write nclex RN.i would like to work in USA so what qualification i need to work in USA...so plz help me

You need to meet the requirements of the BON in the state in which you want to work. If you meet the requirements they will allow you to write the NCLEX. Then you will have to figure out what visa you qualify for.If you are going the Green Card route you will have to find an employer willing to wait the 6 years that it takes for processing.

Also note that a growing number of states require you to have a US Social Security Number in order to apply for licensure, and that can only be obtained by being in the US with legal authorization to work here. (This is a Federal law with which all US states will eventually comply, but some states are taking longer to change their state policies than others.)

hi all..i am a Indian nurse...i completed my Bsc nursing in the year of 2005 ,presently working in the Indian Govt Hospital as a bsc staff nurse in emergency dept....i got admission in valparaiso university ,USA, for pursuing my masters in nursing education and my course duration is 18 months ,and my visa approved for 5 years ...,,but i have taken 5 years leave from govt indian hospital where i am presently working....so i would like to work in USA after my masters for 2 years so plz guide me what way r qualification i need to work in Usa ....thank u

As mentioned you need to meet state requirements which do vary from state to state. If wanting to work whilst a student, presume you have F1 then you need to apply for permission to work whilst on F1 once in the US and first year usually governed by restrictions. Once completed masters then you need to find a job that requires masters and then apply for either immigrant or work visa ( well employer has to apply) otherwise you will have no alternative but return home or look elsewhere.

Better to look at options once completing course but look into CPT and OPT with your international student advisor
