PVT Works in NYS

This trick does still work for NYS. Just put all of your information as if you were registering for an nclex exam. Put all of your card info with a WRONG expiration date or CCV code so that you don't risk any money. Then once you complete that page and click next. It'll take you to the next page to confirm. Once you confirm it'll take you to the next page. On that page if it says invalid card (fail) and if it says that you can't currently register at this time due to an open registration (pass)!

one would THINK it "goes without saying" that it is not official results. And one would be wrong. yes, there most definitely have been MANY questions about that, so you would be wrong on that score too.

Considering the number of posts that ask "Is the PVT ever wrong"?, " Has anyone EVER had the bad pop up and pass?" and "I got the bad popup /good pop up what does this mean?" it's a pretty clear indication that there is plenty of confusion out there. You are taking it as a foregone conclusion that everyone must know the PVT is nothing more than a glitch, nothing more than a trick. What we HAD been trying to tell you is that it's anything but.

People have even asked about the PVT and official results interchangeably. Let us not forget those people who came here to vent about Pearson VUE not explaining the PVT to them better, and complaining to their Board of Nursing that the PVT told them they'd passed so when were they going to get around to getting the license posted. Yes, people really do screw it up that much.

But you can go right ahead telling everyone that those of us dismissing the PVT are completely wrong. Have at it.
