Hi,

I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

I have another question do we need keep the GPA when finished all the prerequisites or we only need keep C at least.

I also received an email about being accepted but still have not received an admission package. It's so frustrating cause they don't give us enough time to finish their return list. I live in the Houston area so I'm not sure why it's taking so long.anyone else still hasn't received an admission package?

Same here, I live around the Houston area and I have not received my package either. I feel like we have so little time for everything.

You should call the school! There are requirements that should be submitted this 27th!

Anyone knows a good place to rent a room or for an apartment near the school? I live like 1 and a half hour away from the school, it'll be better to just find a place near the school than driving everyday...

You just have to make a C or better since they have already accepted you

You may want to email or call the admissions counselor, since it has been a week. Something similar happen to me when she had sent me an email saying that she mailed me a form, but I never received it. I'm only an hour away from Houston, so I figured it shouldn't have taken that long to receive the form. She arranged for me to come to the College of Nursing to fill out the form there, since I never got it through the mail. She replies to her email pretty quickly, but since this is urgent I would give her a call to see if she would let you pick up the packet, because it could be lost in the mail.

She said we are supposed to receive the package by the end of this week.

I called cause like you I haven't receive my package yet and she said that I will have to go pick it up on Monday at the college. You might want to call and ask them if you can pick it up instead. She said they won't remail just arrange for you to pick up
