Hi,

I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

Amara, I am now taking 3 prerequisites. And i have not received acceptance package yet; I received the email says " to admissions" I am still doubting if it means I am admitted??! Because I live in houston area very close to medical center I was supposed to get my package... little weird. ...my hesi is 85( not a perfect score) my current is around 3,88.

I just got my acceptance packet guys and I'm currently taking one class. So good luck to all who are still waiting

Hope you got the email with the new date, october 27th 2014! the 15th was rather close.

But they require us to get the titers for the vaccines right? it will take 2-3 days for that... and same goes for the TB test... it wont be done by this wednesday...

Did you call them to ask? Your gpa and hesi look fine.

I received the email as well but I still haven't received an acceptance packet:( My overall GPA is a 3.8, support is 3.6 and overall hesi is a 90. I'm currently taking my last prerequisite, but my home address where I receive mail is not in Houston so maybe that's why its taking a little longer. I hope I hear something soon.

I asked the coordinator she said the acceptance package were sent on late Friday. We are supposed to receive it by the end of week. A little upsetting, but keep in waiting. .....There are 52 students received this updating letter. I guess there will be a second admission wave because they accept 120 students on each circle.

I do not know if it work...I checked the application status on pvamu main website. The status shows "decision made" and admitted as " transfer nursing" . ...Any other students checked that?

I just checked my status and it said the same thing... "decision made" and "transfer nursing admit". So hopefully that means we got in!

Anyone who received an email Monday morning about the provisional acceptance, have you guys received the packet in the mail?

It feels like they are not giving us enough time to complete everything especially because most people I asked haven't recieved the packet yet.

I received the email as well but I still haven't received my packet. A friend of mine who also applied for the Spring semester did receive her packet this week. Hopefully ours are coming soon!
