Have you submitted your PVAMU application? They changed the application deadline to September 1st and they added a new class...

Yeah I turned it in July and they sent me the email saying I need to take the economics or finance class so unregistered for it and turned in my fee receipt. That makes me nervous though. Have you did the application and everything.?

I already sent in my whole application. Everything is completed but but they just emailed me last week that they added the Personal finance class. They just changed the required pre-req classes in a day... I am taking it this fall... How about you? a

Im enrolled for the finance class to for this semester but that makes me feel like I'm not competitive anymore. I'm just anxious waiting on the application deadline. How were your HESI scores?

Are you taking the finance class this summer or fall? Is that the only class you're missing? My overall hesi is 89%... yours?

Yeah it's the only one and I'm enrolled for the fall semester. My overall score was an 88. I had an 88 on reading and grammar. 90 on math and 92 on anatomy

Really. I did not receive any email talks about this class. I have not taken it yet . doesn't they require 63 prerequisites? I did not see any economy classes.

Yeah they require 63. They took out sociology and replaced it with economics or u have the option to take a finance class. They sent me an updated advising plan in my email saying that I needed to take it

Great! I contacted their coordinator. She said the new checklist will be published after September, 1st. Are you sure we do not have to? I already took sociology.

Yeah ah I just received an email saying that we do not need that financing or economics class if we are applying for spring but after that, new applicants will have to take it. Sociology is included in the pre reqs. I'm just glad I don't have to take another class

Hey guys I'm applying to PVAMU for Spring also I've sent everything in i'm just waiting for my two rec letters to be sent out hopefully sometime this week! Best of luck to everyone applying!
