PVAMU Spring 2015

Hi,

I am applying to PVAMU in the spring of 2015. I wanted to start a thread and see who else may be applying.

I know. I was nervous and scrambling trying to hurry and get enrolled in that class. I'm glad. Where are you transferring from?

I received my associates from HCC, but I took over half of my course load at TSU. Are you from the main campus? I wanted to go there originally, but I was too undecided at the time smh.

Yeah I took all my pre-reqs at Pv and finished in 2011 but I didn't pass hesi at that time. And then I went on this long journey doing other things and decided to take the hesi this year and passed so they consider me a former Pv student and not transfer.

Yeah, you'll definitely get in. Life happens sometimes and it's good that you didn't let anything stop you from pushing forward, so let the waiting games begin! Hopefully we will hear something soon since the deadline is coming up.

I hope so. The deadline is Monday so I'm just super excited to know something and thanks I appreciate that. I hope u get in too. Hopefully we don't have to wait all the way until October to hear something

Hi ladies, I also received the advice plan. What does it mean? But I have not finished all my prerequisites yet and I have 3 left. The lady said they will notify the students in the middle of October.

Hello Blueberry7782,

The advisement plan is the evaluation of course work. It's basically how they keep track of all the applicants and where they are in the process, if students are finishing requirements (hesi scores, tsi status, transcripts). If you're still completing classes, make sure they have something like a transcript saying you are currently enrolled in the required pre-requisites.

Hi, dose somebody know the meanings of marks on the advisement plan. I have 3 crosses on the "institutions attended", under the " to admission" items. Whether this mean the transcripts were received or not. If not, how could they did the evaluation? I have another cross before the uncompleted prerequisites and I know its meaning. Thanks in advance.

The advise plan is to just show you where ur at and what u need to complete. Pretty much an update on everything.

I'm honestly not sure why the crosses r near the schools u attended but usually if there is something wrong then they normally write it in the box at the bottom of the advising plan

Hello, I just received my updated evaluation and in the notes section it says that they are mailing me an in house clinical application to complete. Has anyone else received this application yet?
