PSY101 online summer class

I took Psych 101 online via ccconline through the summer, along with Micro and AP2. Psych was the easiest of the three and required the least amount of focus. If you're taking it by itself, it should be a snap.

BTW... I am getting my entire A.S. through ccconline. I have labs in the sciences and they are all transferable to state U's. I home schooled until recently so online was my best option. If you want to keep staying home to get your pre-reqs done, there is no reason why you can't.

I retook my Psych class online. It was pretty simple as long as you keep up with the reading and assignments as soon as you get them. :)

I took psy online and received an "A". I agree with keeping up with the readings. The info is sooo interesting, tho. Good Luck

How difficult is PSY101 to get through online during a quick summer semester? is it doable? for someone like myself with no knowledge about the subject.

I am trying to take as many as possible online first (two little ones at home) before I start with wkend classes.

I did several of my nursing prerequisites online last summer (including a psych course) and did very well in them. So yes, I would say it's definitely doable, as long as you're organized enough to keep up with deadlines and motivated enough to avoid falling behind.

Have you checked out ratemyprofessors.com? I would suggest screening any potential professors there first--you may find some helpful feedback from their former students.

I'm taking it online right now! So far it seems pretty easy...we have a week to read a chapter and before the next Sunday at midnight we have to paricipate in a discussion question and a quiz. I really like this class though and some of the discussions we are having online I would love to have in a classroom setting (because I find it so interesting!!)

I think it's about 15 weeks. My class started the first of January and I know it goes until the middle of April. Also, we have some sort of a project that will be due in a few weeks (we haven't been given the info for it and have no idea how that will work) And we will have a final exam.
