Anyone taken this course? I'm thinking of taking this with NRSE 451 Transitions in order to finish this course before the switch to semesters.
How difficult was this course? I've taken a lot of online courses, so that is not an issue. I am OKAY with math (I got an A in College Algebra by really applying myself). I'm also working 1 full-time job, and another part-time. I'm going to cut down on the part-time job though.
I have another question for those of you in the 8 week class. Are you doing weekly assignments on blackboard and if so are these being constantly adjusted? In the 5 week class, nearly every week our assignment grades get adjusted because several answers are being marked wrong when they are actually correct.

As far as I know nothing has been adjusted anywhere due to being marked wrong. I had used wrong numbers through one of my project and carried it through half my homework so I lost half the points. But I realize that is another issue lol
Module 9 and 10 are going to kill me. I have had very few problem with the modules up till now, but as I am reading the book, I feel completely confused. The terms are confusing, the theory is confusing. I am just not getting this. And it seems to be the most important ( twice as many points as the others).
I hope the video's are better at explaining this stuff than the book.
I'm glad you 8 weekers are not having assignment problems like we are. Hopefully the computer grading glitches will be worked out before the next 5 week class starts.
@cincinursemary - I started to work on mod 9 and 10 (ours is combined as well) last night and didn't have it in me. Right from the beginning it was confusing and I decided to put it away and have a relaxing evening instead. I will try to tackle it a little bit today.
We are almost done!!!!!!!!!
This class sounds horrific! I don't think I can take that plus a nursing class and work FT. I need to rethink this. :uhoh21:
Some of the mods were confusing and took considerable time and effort to figure out and complete while others were more simple and less time consuming. Personally, I would not want to take this class plus a nursing class, while also working FT. If I did, I'm sure there would be fits of rage where books get thrown around and filthy pirate language spewed. LOL! But that's just me. I'm sure there have been many people who have taken this course with another while also working and managed. Though I would assume that it was difficult.

Mtsteelhorse, I previously posted that I took this class with a nursing class and two non-nursing classes at the same time and it was hard to manage. I will still receive at least a B but I could have gotten an A much easier without the other classes. Some weeks I just had so much to do that I couldn't give statistics my all. I could not imagine doing it in five-weeks but the eight-week version or even a whole semester should truly not be as bad. The material is not as difficult as I had always pictured, but it does take time. I think you will do fine with the class.
Thanks for the encouragement on stats course. I would have to take the 5 week version I'm fairly sure. Is the 8 weeks course an option for everyone? I'm RN-BSN so not sure if I can...or maybe I can but it costs more than the 5 week option. I need to check. Thank you!
Screw it all together mtsteelhorse!!!! The decision has been made......
