Providence TIP September 2023

Hello everyone!

I wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP program for the September 2023 cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, etc.

?

I got an offer 2 days ago for Neuro department at PSJMC. Found it odd it came in this late to be honest, considering program starts next month. 

Did anyone else get offers this late ?

I did! I got one last week and I asked to push my start date back because I just wouldn't be able to get everything done in time

Hi! Yes they did it turns out that when I declined another offer from a different providence hospital they mixed up the offers and accidentally declined the postpartum one too. Luckily they didn't fill the position though and they've resent my offer so I should be good!

Hi! 

Does anyone know if PSJMC in Burbank offer a $10 raise after completing the New Grad program? Thank you!

Has anyone received an email about the official schedule for St Jude's first week of orientation?

The nurse educator for my unit gave me a general overview a month ago and said another Transition In Practice educator will reach out 1-2 weeks prior to the starting date with more information. Other than the 'clear to start' email, I haven't received anything else so I was just wondering if anyone had any updates?

No! My friend sent an email to the manager, the response was that they will reach out to us soon. I also sent an email to my manager on Thursday, but no response yet.

Hi I think they are sending out emails about the optional Q&A session this week for the Fall 2023 cohort! I just got two email invites for different days they are doing the Q&A. Hope this helps!

Has anyone for PSJMC gotten their official schedule for the first few weeks? I still haven't received anything and want to start planning but can't!
