Hi all,

Starting this thread before the Jan '22 cohort application opens up today (hopefully soon!) I have all the required documents ready to submit, patiently refreshing and hoping the link to apply pops up soon. Let's all connect and keep each other updated on our application process. Good luck to everyone! :)

Thank you!

I received the email on Monday, November 8th and when I responded to her I received an automated email saying she was out of the office until this Wednesday.

It looks like I was assigned to Medical-Surgical Oncology 3 West. If anyone knows anything about this unit or has experience there please let me know ? private messages are okay too!

Okay, thank you for the rate information! I hope you hear back soon. Have you tried contacting the recruiter?

Thanks so much for the info ! I haven’t tried contacting my recruiter yet because they did say in the interview it could be two weeks before we heard back. But I may reach out tomorrow if I still haven’t heard anything !

You’re very welcome!

You are right they did say that, so maybe I also need to be more patient haha. The communication hasn’t been very clear so far though. Best of luck ?

It was not! Haha

It wasn’t on my top three but they asked me if I was open to it during the interview and I said yes.

Hello all! I interviewed for Providence Holy Cross (mission hills) on November 4th.. and got my offer yesterday. I was offered the float pool (they said there were 12 of us hired). I did not choose that as my top 3.. but I was so happy to be accepted into their new grad program I didn’t want to turn it down.
I chose : ER, ICU and OR.

They said I will train and float to Med Surg,Tele and Post acute.

Good luck to all of you who applied!

Hi there, I also accepted the float pool position. When you say post-acute do you mean their sub-acute unit? Good luck to you and I hope we meet in orientation!

Hi!! I also received an offer for Holy Cross Step down unit!!
my preferences were ICU, Step down, ER

does anyone know if ICU was open? Or how many people they are hiring for this location?

For those that got offers, do they specify if you're working day shift or night shift?

I have not received any calls with an official offer, other than an email and the status change on my portal. The job description on the portal under “RN I - unit name resident” specifies whether the position is day or night shift.

Hi everyone!

I was interviewed on November 3rd at St Joseph's in Burbank and there are no updates on my application status. Anyone else who interviewed on November 3rd hear back? Getting a little discouraged since everyone is saying their application has been updated ?

Don’t worry - you are not alone. I interviewed on November 4th and still have heard nothing.

someone please correct me if they feel my theory is wrong. But most ppl I have spoken to so far said they have received offers for their 3rd option. Is it possible they are waiting to contact those with the offers for the first option last ?

I can imagine some ppl have received offfers for their first option already. But most ppl I have spoken to have said it was their third option. Any insight help! Thanks !

They told me during my interview at Holy Cross that all of their positions are for night shift.
I think the members at the interview represented the units taking New Grads. I interviewed with mother/baby, critical care and the float pool managers. From what I’m seeing that’s where people are getting offers at.
