Providence TIP January 2022 (Los Angeles/Orange County)

Published

Hi all,

Starting this thread before the Jan '22 cohort application opens up today (hopefully soon!) I have all the required documents ready to submit, patiently refreshing and hoping the link to apply pops up soon. Let's all connect and keep each other updated on our application process. Good luck to everyone! :)

For those who haven't heard back- I too have not.

I interviewed last Monday, and though I know I royally messed up the case study (I did not prepare for it so its 100% my fault), I just wanted those who might feel similar to me be reminded that there are other cohort/positions recruiting now- and not to lose hope for this one, or get stuck on one outcome.

Just sharing this bit of encouragement because anxiety is high, and these words were shared to me by a friend, and wanted to pass it along.

wise words, thanks for sharing! 100% true! also, we did not know the case study beforehand, so there was no way to prepare for it.

Got updated for St. Jude Fullerton as well! My portal changed to include RN I - Step Down/Intermediate Care Unit (Resident) as of today, and I just received an email from my recruiter as well to notify me of the offer and to discuss availability for a phone call that will outline more offer details this week. Congrats to those hearing back and hopefully more people get updated!

Hi all! I also got an offer for St Joseph in Orange on Monday morning for the Orthopedic Acute Unit. ?

Just as a few words of encouragement, this is my THIRD time applying for this TIP program, but I never lost hope because this is where I knew I truly wanted to have my start as a bedside nurse. I took every no as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally. Bottom line is to NEVER give up fellow peeps... I hope the best for everyone!

Good morning all, the recruiter for St. Joseph Orange has just emailed me back to disregard the change in my application status (from interview scheduled, to withdrawn) and that they are now drafting me an offer! Hope this helps those of you who may be in the same boat.

For those that have not heard back yet, hang in there! ?

Hi!! Congrats to you! I also got an offer ? What unit did they ask you to be part of? I will be in the Orthopedic Acute Unit.

@kc123 congratulations! did they let you do the entire process all over again when you reapplied? Did you interview with the hiring managers prior times?

Hi there, yes they allowed me to redo the entire process. I believe they were only different this most recent time I applied.

@kc123 thank you for the reply- that is encouraging. I know some places have you wait 6 months or so for reapplying. Congratulations on the offer ❤️

Nice! I preferenced l&d and postpartum. I counted 28 receipients on the email so I’m wondering if they’re only interviewing 28 people! Doesn’t sound like a lot. But I noticed they only gave us 3 days to pick when to interview so they probably aren’t hiring that many.

OMG went from 28 to 62 today ??

Anyone heard back from Mission Hospital and received an offer for L&D or Postpartum ?

so far I’ve seen one person get accepted on facebook.

thank you

Hey! Thank you, you as well! No official offer just yet. I received another email yesterday saying I have been selected and that my offer will be extended to me within the week or next week. No indication of what unit I was chosen for yet ? My top choices were ICU and ED, and I interviewed with ICU, float pool, and general surgery.

Has anyone from St. Joseph Burbank heard back with ICU/ Step down unit offers yet?

ICU was my first choice but I just got an email for an offer discussion for the neuro/tele. I have not heard anyone yet who got ICU ?
