Providence New Grad TIPS June 2023

Has anybody else applied for Providence Holy Cross in Mission Hills for June 2023 cohort? 

I interviewed 03/23 and they said in ~2weeks we will hear back. I wanted to start this thread to share our process through this ?

Does anyone know if we're wearing scrubs the first day? (Specifically for St Jude)

I'm at Torrance :). I don't know anyone who is starting at Torrance, my RN program was in Whittier, so my friends aren't coming out this way. Is there a group or someway for us to keep in contact with so we help each other survive the new grad program LOL

For the virtual first day or the in person first day? I was going to ask my supervisor a few questions later this week. One of them being what to wear the first day. I bought a pair of royal blue scrubs just to be prepared. ?

The in person part of the first day LOL. I also got scrubs just in case. I will also ask my supervisor!

I'm also at Torrance! I was wondering the same thing. Hopefully we can start a group chat once we all meet in person. Which unit will you be working in?

Hi,

I was wondering if the base pay for St Jude in Fullerton and St Joseph in Orange were still less than $40 as I consider nurse residency programs to apply to in the upcoming months.

St Jude Fullerton is $45! I believe St Joes is the same as well

I'm starting at L&D. I emailed my manager, and she hasn't responded LOL. What unit are you working in? Also, I tried sending you a personal message and I can't LOL.
