Providence New Grad TIPS June 2023

Updated:   Published

Has anybody else applied for Providence Holy Cross in Mission Hills for June 2023 cohort?

I interviewed 03/23 and they said in ~2weeks we will hear back. I wanted to start this thread to share our process through this ?

I know that after the orientation on the 1st day, we will then have orientation with our core leader. Have you been in touch with your unit manager? My manager told me to come to the unit after orientation on the first day, and my schedule would be created then. I don't know if any of this helps.

Are the shifts at St. Jude's from 6:30-6:30 or 7:30-7:30?

I believe I heard the educator that we are 7:00-7:30 but I might've completely misheard. I think it'd be best if we clarified w/ our managers ?

Thank you for replying ?

Yes! Contact your unit manager. It's a part of the things we have to do before starting

No problem, there is so much!

Somewhere in the onboarding paperwork, it asked us to contact our unit manager. (You can find your manager's name and email on your initial offer from St. Jude.) I wrote my manager a quick email and she forwarded it to my clinical coordinator/ supervisor. They have all responded with helpful information and warm greetings from the unit.

Hmmm. I haven't even been scheduled. On the online portal, I don't have access to the onboarding forms yet, either.

I did my health screening today. Mine included a fit test and a photo for my badge. The badge will be ready the first week.

You are scheduled once you have submitted all of the documents requested and the background check has cleared.

I think you should call your recruiter. Did you talk with Joy?

Last I heard, everything cleared. I just reached out to the preboarding specialist again. Hopefully, I hear soon. I would hate to be behind on anything.

Also, do you guys know schedule-wise? The first week is typically Mon-Fri for new grad orientation.
