Updated:   Published

I just wanted to create a forum for those applying to Providence TIP RN Residency  program for new grads applying to the 2024cohort. I know the application opens soon, so I wanted to create this forum so we can discuss the application process, interviews, and more!! ☺️

For anyone who applied to Mission, I noticed that the unit introductions include units at the Laguna Beach location. Do you think they're grouped together and we can put some of those in our top 3?

I think it will just be the type of unit that we rank like OR, ED, Med surg etc.

Is anyone an experienced nurse doing the fellowship program? I have been an RN for 7 years and interviewed and offered a position this afternoon in SICU at Mission Viejo but I have no idea what the hourly might be. I know I will be taking a pay cut to specialize but I'm just hoping it's enough to make rent! Any fellowship RNs here?

Does anyone know if they are willing to make accommodations (either zoom or different day) if you are unable to make the interview days listed?

I called off work to attend mind. I emailed the recruiter but no response so I just called in sick. Got offered ICU in Mission Viejo by the manager but it was late this afternoon so no formal offer from HR yet. Really wondering what the pay is like for the fellowship, I've been an RN for 7 years and know I will be taking a pay cut but hoping it's enough to cover the high cost of rent in the area.

Anyone that interviewed today  can give tips or explain how your interview was ?

Go through the email and think of situations in your past work history that you can relate to that situation. Mine was 30 mins with one SICU manager and I was offered the position verbally, still waiting on official. It was pretty laid back and she was super cool. Just asked a bunch of "tell me about a time when..." type of questions, some behavioral questions. It helped that I've been an RN for 7 years so I could directly think of past work experiences. It wasn't bad.

@ReefRN thank you so much ????? & congratulations!! ? ? I'm sure they will call you next week ?

Goodluck everyone on the upcoming interviews! I have interviews with a few providence hospitals..getting nervous but hoping for the best!

Does anyone remember the units that are being offered for Holy Cross mission hills and Saint Joseph's Burbank ? Since the units offered varied based on location.
Also best of luck everyone!
