Im honestly shocked that I haven't heard back from any hospital..I applied to 5 providence hospitals! LOL. I thought one would of sticked...granted, the units I applied to were highly sought after and had limited spaces..but Jesus..im so disappointed!..I really wanted this. anyway, going to try and look for other hospitals that have new grad programs opening up..I just really don't have any interest in medsurg ? good luck everyone, I hope we still are in the running for a spot!

do you remember what units they said were open to choose from? I went to St. Jude today and the openings that were originally open we I applied aren't the ones theyre looking to fill right now..kind of disappointed in that...But I have my interview for St. Joseph's tomorrow.

I also got an invitation to the meet and greet. I believe they invite quite a bit of people to these meet and greets. maybe theres a certain threshold of points that you need to get in order to receive an invitation? im really not sure.

does anyone know if the interviews are in person or on zoom? im confused because it says "live interview" but it sent me a modern hire zoom link? im interviewing for San Pedro and LCM Torrance

Goodluck everyone on the upcoming interviews! I have interviews with a few providence hospitals..getting nervous but hoping for the best!

I received 2 offers from two different hospitals. Im a new grad and im unsure which one to pick..both are so appealing. while in school I never LOVED floor nursing. Tele was interesting but Its definitely not my first choice. ED was one of my first choice specialities to begin in however the Dayshift and 10 mins drive for the Tele unit is just so appealing to me. Im unsure if I should take the tele position and try to transfer to the ED after a year or just jump right into the ED and deal with it being night shift and a longer commute. I know the decision is ultimately mine to make but any insight would be greatly appreciated. First hospital Emergency Department (non trauma hospital) Night Shift 30-1 hr commute (20 miles) Second hospital Tele Dayshift 10 mins from home (5 miles)

I really don't know what im going to do. I really wanted ED but I already accepted a Tele position at another hospital 10 mins from home. ED is the dream specialty but the other hospital is the dream location LOL I start the other hospital in 2 weeks! LCM doesn't start until September right? No it was a totally different hospital

Hey guys, LCM Torrance must still be sending out offers. I had already given up my hopes of an emergency position at LCM but I just got an offer today!..im in shock. I already accepted another position on a tele floor now IDK what to do. I can't believe they're sending some out still

perhaps you need to reapply? im not sure how you would update an existing application. It seems like they were interviewing last week for the august cohort. I just accepted a position at Whittier for an august start date. things are moving fairly quickly

thank you for this..I was getting upset because I hadn't heard back from Torrance..I went on an interview with my #1 hospital yesterday and they were the most kindest people I've ever met on an interview....I got an offer from them this morning..5 miles from home!..you will end up where you're supposed to end up! good luck everyone!

Does everyone think Torrance has already contacted everyone? I really thought I did pretty well on my interview so im a little lost RN..I haven't heard back from Torrance and that was the only providence hospital I applied to. I have another interview tomorrow with another hospital but now im wondering wth did I do wrong at providence so I don't repeat at my next interview LOL..
