I spent 15 years as an LPN before finally going back for RN. Got this sweet little gig right out of school as a public school nurse-making slightly less than I made as an LPN ? . I am starting my 6th year here and actively looking for a new job. 5 years ago I would have said this was where I want to be forever, but things change. I now have 2 sweet grandsons that I want to put through college one day. I can't do that on this salary. Oh and I am tired of dealing with parents everyday. All that to say that I am glad I got the RN ?

No letter needed. You do not send a letter home stating someone in a class has strep and it is actually contagious. Don't let the teachers and parents pressure you.

Testing labs do not ordinarily take drug lists before the testing. If a test comes back positive, the lab will contact you or the school/place of employment and request a valid prescription (if it is something that can be prescribed). Adderall is amphetamine. It is a schedule II narcotic. It shows up on a drug screen as positive for amphetamines, because that is what it is.

Christmas at home in AR with son, daughter-in-law and grandbaby. After that, meeting our Airman son in Delaware, then skiing/snowboarding Blue Mountain, PA and New Years in Atlantic City. LOTS of driving, but road tripping is fun! Back to school 1/7.

Walking one of my littles to class this morning I heard a 1st grade teacher say to her only student in a not so nice tone "well you're the only one here today and you're gonna work". Some teachers need to retire... Anyhoo. 4 1/2 hours until 2 glorious weeks off! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
