    I was considering going for the RN instead of LPN, but from family and friends they are telling me it's a difficult program, especially chemistry & biology. So just to be on the safe side, I think I'll take their advice and go for the LPN program...

    True. They did drop out or dropped the class. I have NEVER had a conversation with someone that actually passed the classes

    That's why I'm here. To get informed from nursing students. The people I have talked has dropped out or dropped the classes.

    What windsurfer8 said was uncalled for. He's probably unhappy on the inside and wants it to be known. I might just try the lpn route and bridge over. Thanks for the information & hope you get accepted soon:)

    Thank you. I knew they were prerequisites, but i didnt see them that way. I saw them as just being difficult.

    Is it worth going to school for a lpn??? Or just stay a medical assistant??? I've heard that it is stressful becoming a lpn. I'm sure the pay is different then a medical assistant. Are their jobs for a lpn?? And are lpn's in demand???
