after reading the threads i guess i was lucky back in 200 to test and pass. science. we had none it was a 1 week course and no science just the skills and such that we had to learn

I got my STNA license there back in 2000. It was short and sweet and they do testing there on-site or at least they did. Lot's of things have changed. It's no longer free as it was back then.

third shift is the best. No Administrator, family or noise to distract you from care. Perfect if you want to go in and get the job done unhindered. Also higher pay because of the shift diff.

I am in Ohio and I also am licensed in Pennsylvania. Funny this thing sort of happened to me. It was a mistake that Ohio was saying my license had expired. I was told that I had to retake the class. It's the same in PA. too.Believe me I wasn't happy....
