CNA Pay Rate

I was wondering if anyone out there can tell me the pay rates for working in or near Asheville, NC, or Detroit, MI.

I live in PA., not far from Pittsburgh and we get paid 12.50 an hour on nights here.

It would probably be best to pose this question in those state's forums.

I live in Indiana and starting out in a hospital I made ~ $8.30. After six years I make ~ $10.25. We get an extra .10 on the hour for working nights. I work in a small, 80 bed hospital though. I'm sure the larger hospitals would pay more and I have heard that LTCF pay more also.

I just started at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. The starting pay for CNA 1's is 9.15 and for CNA 2's it's 9.65 both with a 1.00 night differential. Keep in mind that the hospital has like over 400 beds so like bethin said it depends on the size of the hospital.
