Hi all, Just wanted to know what common medications do you give to your patients? And have you ever experienced side effects that were difficult to notice? Thanks.

Just wondering who all has/is submitting their application for the October due date for the AF for the up and coming boards?

Just curious what other nurses do with the end of the IV tubing when the IV's are not in use. Some people hook it to a port on the tubing itself and others just let it hang there....

Just curious if anyone has worked with the healthcare recruiter in North Carolina/South Carolina? What was your experience like? Who did your Chief Nurse interview? Was the Chief Nurse intimidating?

I was told to leave the little air bubble. What are others take on this?

I was told that in school also. But nurses still do it. Does anyone know what the rationale for not doing it is?

Are you still considered a fully qualified air force nurse if your 6 months nursing experience was in 2009 and you are currently not working? If not, will the AF have you go to NTP?

I finished everything as well except Chief Nurse interview. When did you go to MEPS Madamrose?

I totally agree. I would love to go to NTP for the training. I just got the impression that it makes it more competitive to get in AF if I need to go to NTP.

Huh? I was told by my recruiter that if you have 6 months experience you would NOT have to do NTP. But she wasn't sure since I am not currently working if it still counts.... Good luck to you too! :)

"That's a really broad question asking for the most common meds. It really depends on what type of floor/facility you're working at. On a cardiac tele floor, I gave of course lots of cardiac meds. I can't help you as far the LTC though...but I'm sure...
