Hi everyone,do I've got entry into NAU Tucson and U of A's BSN program, and am trying to decide which one to go for. Is anyone familiar with the differences/styles/vibes of these two programs, and how they compare, or which one might be "better" than...

HI, I'm in the traditional BSN program. It sure feels like a strong and organized program. Whether to go MEPN, or BSN... don't know. I think only you would know best. Maybe an advisor here can help you decide. MEPN sounds good!!

I chose UofA, with no regrets. You get that real college feel at the UA college of nursing that you just don't experience at the NAU Tucson campus. We get expert guest lecturers all the time, which helps to keep long, boring lectures more interesting...

Hi, I did not apply at UofA for fall '10, but instead at NAU's BSN program. If I don't get accepted there this time, I'm applying at UofA for spring '11. So I'm curious about their competitive prereq GPA levels, etc. Have you heard of your status ye...
Hi, I'm a 31 year old male and about to apply at a local BSN program. Even though I'm not too bright, I've got a high prereq GPA with plenty of community service and will most likely be accepted into the BSN program. During the past 10 years I've wo...
Hi, I'm nearly finished with my BSN prereqs and about to apply at the U next month. My brother has been a BSN for 3 years now, and I'm wondering... generally speaking, is admission now tougher than it was about 3/4/5 years ago? For example, I don't r...

Hi, I'm glad you got in! I'm planning to apply at this BSN program in Tucson, and am oh so nervous. If you don't mind my asking, what was your cumulative/prereq GPA when you applied? Thanks, and congratulations
HI, I'm neither former or current student at NAU's BSN program, but I'm applying there next year. I just got off the phone with a helpful woman after asking her the same questions you posed. This is what she said: a competitive prerequisite gpa is be...

Which class(es) did you fail, if I may ask? You could retake them! There is no penalty for retaking prereq courses. Did you submit a FAFSA for financial aid? Hang in there!! It's all doable! Best wishe, Joe
Hi, I'm on my second-to-last (penultimate!!!!) semester of prereques and will apply for the state U's BSN program next May. On their website, the Nursing College recommends that the student's corequisite coursework be completed by the time of admissi...

Hi! I am also knocking out BSN prerequs at Pima's east campus, and will be applying at the U of A in May. In case you plan to take chem 130 and 140... they're pretty easy! I'm hoping you could tell me how Psych 230 is? I hate math and am a little n...
Hi, I have a silly question. I'm working on my BSN prereqs- two semesters down (almost), two to go. The local university requires a 3.0 GPA in both prerequisite coursework and cumulative GPA. Exaclty what is meant by 'cumulative gpa' in this context?...
