I haven't found a place yet. I've been searching online for potential places but many of them are out of my price range. I'm going to LA next week to scope out the neighborhoods and what not.

Does anyone know how the new grad program is organized? I was told by the HR person that we do 12 hr shifts, but I'm wondering if theres a in-classroom component also. If anyone knows details, please let me know. Congrats to everyone again :)

I have done my training in CA. If I sit for my boards before they recieve my transcripts, would that effect my license? I just want to make sure that I will be considered a degreed RN when I take my test.

Congratulations on your acceptance. Word of advice: Make copies of all your paperwork. Sometimes NU misplaces papers and stuff. It can hold you back from attending clinicals. Good luck with nursing school.

I am in National's nursing program and I like it alot. Its fast and its expensive but thats what loans and cal grants are for. its alot of sacrafice, but everything is definitely worth it. i would recommend the program to everyone.

I applied to National University May 2007 and heard back mid August 2007 and started January 2008. There getting alot better with replying back. If anything, I would email them and follow-up.

I read my notes every night before I go to sleep. I also study every Saturday afternoon for about 3-4 hours with breaks in between. Study groups also help out alot, especially before a test. So far I have gotten A's in my classes. I hope this helps. ...
