Actually we did have one person drop for personal reasons so keep your fingers crossed. The orientation is very intimidating and shows just how involved the program is which might not work for someone....good luck.

I choose to get Essentials of Pathophysiology by Porth too. It was a recommended book on our first semester book list. After reading and getting into it for about a month now, (prior to school starting) I like it. I'm using the learning objectives...
I have experience with Taber's and have had no issues with it. My suggestion is to get your hands on them and flip through them to see which one you think will work for you. Best of luck.
I have 11 more out of the 13 required to purchase. The difficult part is that I don't get my financial aid funds until after the 30-day wait....so its all out-of-pocket (which is already empty). Yikes

CONGRATS NicoleInHisWill !!!!!!! Yeah, I'm excited to finally find someone who will be in the class with me. Now the long wait until the syllabus comes out and orientation.
Most NS's require the A&P to have been completed prior to applying. When I took my A&P class we got to work with cadavers which I feel was more educating compared to models but cadavers are not for everyone.
