Yep! Plenty of my friends have had breast augmentation, and it was for them soley...nothing else. I am not very big either, & wouldn't mind being just a little big bigger, I would go for it, but right now very interested in the above my neck tre...

Annor...sounds like a great job. Yes, I heard & "inquired" to a few places in my area regarding the Botox & Restylane. Yep, the Botox often doesn't last very long, 3-4 months with some people. But, I have heard nothing but great things about...

:chuckle Again, I have to smile, because I too worked with pt's with rap sheets...only younger ones...lol!! I recently resigned...had enough of that action..it wasn't changing & I am not getting any younger! Hmmm, Med-Surg, might have to go bac...
The above advise is just what I did. Also, if you have a pair of ear-plugs, I would bring them. When I took my state boards, there was man who sat at the computer directly behind me & coughed/cleared his throat the entire time I was in there. O...

PsychNightOwl...you must work where I used to....lol! Did you work with adolescents or adults? I work with adolescents (terrible teens!) and anything and everything was a weapon..or in their words...I am going to shank you!! Do take care of yourself...

Two of my cousins both have the silicone implants since 1980, they have never had a problem & still have em! I guess some bodies reject & others do well. Has anyone has Botox or Restylane yet? A couple of my friends had, they are the same a...

Everyone has offered wonderful advise. I too, rather I think we all have felt like this with our first job after graduating. My first job was on the rehab floor at a SNF, then, I became a floater because it paid it little bit more, not much, but so...
Yeah well...I am pretty sure it would be considered a crime anywhere, but considering this facility where I used to work at...I don't think they would really care..they just want money & that pt was $$$ signs in their eyes. The crime is working f...
I would think too, especially calling 911 three times!! However, I guess the personnel/paramedics taking the calls figured she was demented, old, crazy & mean...and didn't want to pursue it any further.
Shay...your post brought back memories to me. We had a patient (older lady) very similar (demanding, needy, attention seeking etc...), and she had the entire unit in an uproar by the end of shift. She called 911 on her phone and told them she was h...

Well, when I called them, they were very vague...they wanted that $300 application fee first, then I emailed the nursing dept to find out if they would accept my math from my ASN, and they asked for a course description from my college. I got it, em...

Well at least a local community college will certainly be less costly for the gen education classes. I read on the Thomas Edison College forums that there are diploma nurses who get a good bit of credit. Same as the Saint Joseph's College of Maine....
Hi Jasmine. Just wanted to let you know that Indiana State is accredited. I am looking at several schools & I also looked at Indiana State for the RN-BSN track. I contacted my student loan lender, since I am applying for another Stafford Loan.....

Exactly! Be extra careful. I have notice it seems to happen during change of shift, giving report. We have had pts' gang up on another pt and physically assault this pt that they couldn't get away from. Our facility is small, so there aren't many a...

No weapons, guns of any sort. All locked outside of the building in a lockbox. However, they do bring their hand-cuffs & shackles when they have to take an extremely out of control patient to another facility. Often at times I wish they allowed...

Tiffanycmt....you could be taking care of a patient on a med-surg unit, telemetry, ER , etc... and how you wouldn't know if that person was a sex offender and/or commited some heinous crime would you? But, you still have to take care of that patient...

I enjoyed your post. However, Europe is not that boring, depends where you go. How about the Middle East, Turkey? Turkey can be quite lively as well! P.S. Thanks for the International SOS link, haven't heard of it. I checked it out, interested.
