Hi all. I'll put this question in the other thread, sorry.
Anyway, has anyone heard anything regarding Saint Joseph's College of Maine for RN to BSN track? Tuition is $250 credit/hr.

Thanks!

Hi Lizzie,
There is another message board that I read on that had a couple of posts about that school. It is a general board so the messages have been about their MBA programs. The students on that board speak very highly about the MBA in healthcare management.

Thank you! I just got accepted into IWU. The other schools have been a bit slow getting back with me, IWU has been very receptive.

I have heard mixed reviews. It seems to be pretty much self-study. You get your workload an you are expected to finish within 6 months. There is some on campus expectations 2 weeks per summer or something like that. I have known students who have done it and others who are thinking of switching. If you have good study habits and a self learner with time in the summer it may be the school for you.
Thank you. Interesting regarding the workload & the 2 weeks in summer gig.

I plan on starting the distance learning program Saint Josephs college of maine for my MSN with concentration in nursing education. Anyone in the program or completed the program that can give me information and advice? Thanks.

I don't recommend it.
I was up in the air between SJCME and WGU when I switched from Indiana Wesleyan.
I was not given any information on enrollment, was only bothered after another term had started, and even then that was only for financial aid.
I am considering looking at them again for my post-Master's FNP, but we'll see what happens.

I am a Mainer and St Joe's is a good school, with a good reputation (a bit pricey, but good). Would expect nothing less from their online studies.
