Hello to all. Did you have any problems finding an RN job after getting out of school? What about getting hired as a GN in a hospital setting? Pediatrics?:monkeydance:

How long does it take you?

Does anyone work for Children's or Medical City? Do you know what the starting salary is for LVNs? Do these hospitals even hire GVNs? It seems harder for LVNs to get into hospitals.

Yeah that does hurt.. It gave me a fever, so I took Naproxen. I am a little nervous. Are you working in the medical field?

Does anyone know of GVNs being hired in settings other than long-term care? Is so, where? Salary?

Thanks. I too thought about CareNow, but when I went to their website, it states that you must work any shift that they tell you. Evening, Nights, and Days. I don't mind the evenings, and nights..it's having to work days, that gets me. Another note...

I know what you mean about waiting to the last minute . I think that we should have been able to go right to FA for our meeting. Honestly, I did not even know there was a drug test. :trout: I'm so ready to get going.

I could not take waiting anymore, so went ahead and took the test. Yay me, I passed. So I will be in the Sept 4th class. I know the test is not that hard, but still I am proud of my accomplishment.
